ASCII is a term used to describe a standard for computers to represent characters from the English alphabet. Originally, ASCII was developed to translate binary code into text so that it could be read by humans. However, over time ASCII has come to be used as a way to represent text in general, regardless of language.
|
||||
My artwork 'ascii' is a direct representation of this standard. Using only the characters from the English alphabet, I have created a piece that is meant to be viewed as a whole. Each character has been carefully chosen and positioned in order to create a cohesive and visually stunning work of art. I hope that my artwork can serve as a reminder of the power of communication, and how even something as simple as the English alphabet can be used to create something beautiful.

My new artwork, 'Hamburger Clues the Burger,' is a symbolic representation of the clues that we as a society use to identify a hamburger. The different colors and shapes of the burger signify each clue, and how they work together to create a coherent image of a hamburger. The artwork is a reminder that we all have different ways of seeing the world, and that our individual perspective is what makes us unique.

The title refers to the fact that the TOR network, which is designed to provide anonymity and privacy to its users, has been grinded to a crawl by the chatter of sansGato, who is a YouTuber with a large following. This is symbolic of the way in which the internet is being controlled and restricted by those in power.

By using a variety of colors and textures, I seek to show the frustration that many users feel when trying to use the tor network. The center of the piece is a dark, anguished face, which represents the user's frustration. The eyeball in the upper left corner represents the user's desire to escape the tor network and watch youtube videos sansGato.
