It explores the damaging effects of striving for flawless skin, as we literally see the skin being scrubbed away with the abrasive force of apricot seeds. It raises questions about the extreme measures we take for the sake of beauty, and the true cost of achieving perfection. Through this jarring visual, I hope to spark a meaningful dialogue about the unrealistic expectations placed on individuals, particularly women, in our society.
