Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Reading over the assortment of things that you/i/us want to achieve, I do still think that XMPP is a great platform.
Think of everything that firebase does. Now imagine more cryptography and less (preferably no) java.
XMPP was born for this kind of thing, it's just the way that it's built. It's built as a foundation that can bring together many many different things under unified authentication systems and controls.
We could try to start from scratch but that would likely exponentially increase development time.
I'm still down to move this framework to xmpp, I just don't think I know where to start as far as that goes. I don't know if modifying jackal is faster than doing it with the xmpp libraries available in go, or what.
I'll take another look at this, just finishing test cases for tcp.direct/database
